The State Minister in charge of the Office of the Vice President, Diana Mutasingwa, recently paid a courtesy visit to Abdulla Al-Shamsi, the ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Uganda.

The meeting was aimed at discussing areas of mutual cooperation and addressing issues affecting the Muslim community in Buikwe.

“We had a fruitful discussion on how to strengthen our bilateral relations and explore new areas of cooperation,” said Minister Mutasingwa.

“I appreciate the UAE’s continued support for Uganda’s progress, and I look forward to working closely together for the benefit of our people.”

The UAE has been a significant partner for Uganda, providing support in various sectors such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.

Minister Mutasingwa’s visit is a testament to the growing ties between the two nations.

As the State Minister in charge of the Office of the Vice President, Mutasingwa plays a crucial role in promoting Uganda’s interests and fostering partnerships with foreign nations.

Her efforts to strengthen Uganda’s relationship with the UAE are expected to yield positive results for the country’s development.

“I am committed to working with the UAE to identify areas of mutual benefit and to explore new opportunities for cooperation,” Minister Mutasingwa said.

“Together, we can achieve great things and improve the lives of our people.”
