Out of these accidents, 390 people were affected, 327 sustained injuries while 63 lost their lives.
“Of the recorded fatalities, 27 involved motorcycles, comprising 14 passengers, 13 riders, and 26 pedestrians.” Kananura noted. Most of the accidents were attributed to improper overtaking, speeding and following too closely.
