Robinah Nabbanja , the Prime Minister of Uganda, has arrived in Italy for a working visit aimed at strengthening cooperation between Uganda and Italy on various development initiatives.
On arrival at Bologna International Airport, Prime Minister Nabbanja was warmly received by AmbassadorElizabeth Paula Napeyok.
“I am delighted to be in Italy, and I look forward to engaging with our Italian counterparts on ways to enhance our cooperation,” said Prime Minister Nabbanja.
During her visit, Prime Minister Nabbanja will participate in several forums, including an international conference where she will deliver a keynote address on “Skilling the Youth and Agri-Business: A Case Study for Uganda.”
“I am excited to share Uganda’s experiences and best practices in skilling our youth and promoting agri-business,” she added.
The Prime Minister’s visit is expected to further strengthen the bilateral relations between Uganda and Italy, particularly in areas such as agriculture, education, and youth development.
“We are committed to deepening our cooperation with Italy and exploring new opportunities for mutual benefit,” said Nabbanja.
Ambassador Napeyok expressed her delight in receiving the Prime Minister and assured her of a productive visit. “We have a packed schedule, and I am confident that this visit will yield fruitful outcomes for both countries,” she said.”
