Pan African Youth Conference has brought together young people from across the African continent to discuss and address issues crucial to Africa’s development and the empowerment of its youth.
The conference is an annual event organised by the African Youth Commission and its partners.
The Minister of East Africa Community Affairs, Ms Rebecca Kadaga, sponsored a group of youth, with 60 percent of them female, to attend the 4th Pan-African Youth Conference in Bomas, Nairobi, Kenya.
Kadaga officially flagged off the youth on March 23 to attend the conference.
Through Kadaga’s sponsorship, the youth were empowered by having a platform to voice their concerns and engage with others at the conference, facilitated by her office.
This conference serves as a platform for young people from across the African continent to come together and discuss important issues related to the continent’s development and the empowerment of its youth.
