Parents have been asked to ensure proper upbringing of their children, rather than giving lavish lives to them.
The call was made by Budiope East constituency Member of Parliament, Moses Magogo during the Christmas Day celebrations at Irundu Catholic Church.
He tasked parents to be at the forefront of proper child upbringing by educating, parenting, caring and providing to them as educated class is better than the counterpart.
Magogo who also represented the Speaker of Parliament, Annette Anita Among pledged to offer support to the church leaders by going to Vatican to complete the Papal visit.
He noted that the road infrastructure is still wanting and pledged to take it individually like before
Magogo warned them on family planning saying the issue now is not the number of children and wives but quality of education one offers to children that determines their future lives.
“The future now lies on education which has a bearing on the quality of life one leads. Education is not for the rich but those who can sacrifice. Avoid being misled by bush lawyers to antagonize those handling your children but instead work with them,” he advised.
