Looking frail,, Omukama Solomon Gafabusa was supported by men  off the helicopter and later supported into his waiting car together with the queen Margret Karunga.

This was a moment of excitement and ululations as Banyoro sited the king and crowds turned huge to the extent that security could no longer contain them.

Led by traditional dancers and a police patrol vehicle, the fleet of cars together with the walking crowds that kept increasing  proceeded slowly through Hoima town to the kingdom palace.

“I want to thank God, the president who sent his helicopter, but also Bunyoro people for being calm under this trying moment, I’m grateful that he has been discharged,” Byakutaga said.

He asked all religious institutions to continue praying for the king to fully recover and take charge of the kingdom.

“We are close to Friday for Muslims, Saturday for Adventists and Sunday for other Christian let’s thank God for healing our king but also pray for him to fully recover so that he can reign” he stated
