Prayer life is how we personally and intimately communicate with God. We all want a sweet relationship with our God. Prayer can be in various forms; it maybe verbal, meditative, ritualistic, worship, thanksgiving, and intercessory among others. A great number of times as we pray we feel let down; maybe because of a delayed answer to our prayers, maybe because of our work schedules, maybe because of our human weakness. All these hinder our connection and relationship with God our Father and creator. Today i want to share my faith with you and offer some tips that can help one achieve a better prayer life.

In order to be consistent on a journey of a stable prayer life, one has to designate a specific time and place for prayer, free from distractions. This can be done by setting aside time each day to pray so as to build a regular prayer habit. This helps create a habit and fosters a deeper connection with God.Don’t get discouraged if you don’t see immediate results, keep praying, trusting that God is working in your life. If as an individual you are weak in this area make great use of prayer groups or accountability partners .
2. Be Sincere and Authentic.
Prayer is not about using formal language or pretending to be someone you’re not. Be honest and authentic in your prayers, sharing your true feelings, struggles, and desires as you pray from heart, using your own words and emotions. Resist from using using general or common prayers as much as possible, but rather be more spontaneous and specific about your needs, concerns, and gratitude. Pray from your heart and mind, involve your whole self in prayer, let the prayer speak your true feelings. This helps focus your mind and heart, making your prayers more effective.
