GOD IS LEADING YOU TO A NEW CHAPTER. KEEP THE FAITH. (Part 2)

As you enter this new season, take time to seek His presence, spend time in prayer. Read his word and listen to his voice. Seek the Lord while he may be found, call on Him while he is near. In His word written in Isaiah55;6 God is writing a beautiful story with your life. He is the author and finisher of your faith. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning and shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. As it says in Hebrews 12;2 “So no matter what you have been through, he is able to turn everything for your good and we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him. Who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8;28 . Your past does not define you, God’s promises do! Your identity  is in him and he sees you as his beloved child worthy of all good things. By this new season, we were in a time of growth and flourishing .Take a step of faith even if you do not see the entire path ahead. As it says in 2 Corinthians 7 For we live by faith, not by sight. Trust in his guiding your steps and my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4;19

In Joshua 1;9 it says, “Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Be not afraid ,do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go”. My friends, remember that every step you take is under the watchful eye of God. He is not just guiding you, He is walking beside you. He is your constant companion, guide and protector as it says in Psalm 23;4 “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” When challenges arise and they will, do not be discouraged.  Instead, see them as opportunities for God to show you great power in your lives. James 1;2 “Considerate pure joy my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance ,think of the heroes of faith in the bible. Each of them faced daunting challenges but they also experienced incredible victories because they trusted in God . Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt  against all odds. Hebrews 11;24. 25 speaks of Moses’ faith by faith Moses. When he had grown up ,he refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy fleeting pleasures of sin. David a young shepherd defeated Goliath. David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel whom you have defied. As it is written in 1 Samuel 17;45. Esther saved her people from destruction then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for 3 days , night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the King even though it’s against the law.  If I perish, I perish.” Esther 4;16.

These stories are not just ancient tales. They are reminders that God is the same today, yesterday and forever. My friends, in this new season, be patient with yourself. Growth takes time and God’s timing is always perfect. Sometimes, we do not understand why things happen the way they do but we can trust that God is weaving everything together for a purpose. As it says in Romans 8;28 “And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. For my thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” As it says in Isaiah 55;8-9 Lewis speaks of how God often uses difficulties to bring us to new beginnings and direct us to where we will truly find true happiness and purpose. God who made us knows what we are and that our happiness lies in him. Yet we will not seek it as long as he leaves us any other resource as it can possibly be looked for. While what we call our own life remains agreeable, we will not surrender it to him. What then can God do in our interest but make life less agreeable to us and take away the possible sources of false happiness?
