16 more anti-graft protesters granted bail

Buganda Road Court has granted bail to 16 more youths arrested last month during anti corruption protests.

Grade one magistrate, Sanula Nambozo released each of the 16 on a shs1 million non cash bail and each of their sureties, shs500,000.

They were stopped from engaging in any violent actions.

Case has been adjourned to September 9.

The 16 together with others who have since been granted bail were arrested by police during protests against corruption in parliament by youths.
